In
the second game, Bob Woythas two-run homer in the second inning stood up for
a 2-1 win. It was his 5th
homer of the season. Bob Krolls
triple scored the Tigers run. There
were many hits: Capt. Bob with 4,
Floss Klamrowski had 3 and Bob White, Capt. Tony, Lynne Dahlvik, Don
Ruediger, Bob Kroll and Betty Hellesvig each had two. |
From
there we will start exerstriding inside the building. With 26 potential walkers, we are
suggesting multiple times for walking, 9:00 AM, 3:00 PM, and 6:00 PM each day
thereafter. You pick the time
that works for you. Just meet by the
Chapel Lounge, pick a partner and start walking and talking. You can
design your own routes, since walking on all floors is possible because the
poles dont make any more noise than footsteps. If
you missed the presentation this past Tuesday, come on February 7 to learn
about this fun, new way to improve total body fitness. We will place an order for additional poles
as needed. |

from St. Lukes Medical Center will be here on Friday, February 17th

As forbidden
love blossoms between them, the young lovers are forced to face death or part
forever. Together, they set a shining example of true devotion that
ultimately transcends the vast cultural differences between their warring
nations, heralding a time of unprecedented peace and prosperity. With a pop-rock score that features
stirring ballads and rousing choral numbers, Elton John and Tim Rice's
AIDA
is a modern crowd pleaser that embraces exuberant dancing, staging and
singing. Reserved
senior pricing is $5. Please
sign up at the Atrium Information Counter and deposit your check in the
Office Drop Box by Friday, February 17 to reserve your seat. The Steeple View Bus will depart from the
Atrium at 1:20 pm; a $3 bus donation will be collected when you board. A minimum of 8 is required to take the bus.

Steeple View Residents On Tuesday, February 21st, at 6:00 PM in the
Community Room, Steeple View Board members will be hosting our annual
resident meeting. This is an
opportunity to learn about some of the topics that they have been working on,
on your behalf. In order to have a more efficient meeting, any resident
who has questions will need to submit them in writing to
the office by Monday, February 13th. Coffee and light refreshments will be
served. Inspirational Thought for the Week
When a child behaves
badly, the childs mother loves him just the same. She may be grieved, disappointed, and hurt,
but nothing the child can do will ever destroy her love. If that is true of imperfect human love, how
much more so Gods love! It is Gods
nature to love us. Nothing we can do
or fail to do can stop the shining of that great love. |
SVC All of us have different
things that we are interested in like music, reading, knitting, genealogy,
walking, or simply talking or visiting with others. A small group of
residents have been working on a program called SVC Steeple View
Connections, in an effort to provide ways to connect us with each other based
on our interests. Watch for a full description of SVC in next Weeks
News. Many small groups are already in action like the Prayer Shawl
Knitters, the Friday Prayer
Group, Luncheon Club, etc. Did You Know? Bob Kroll regularly
empties our garbage bags from the big gray trash bins in the Trash Rooms by
hand into the Big Blue Bins in the West Garage. Sometimes this gets
very messy if your bag isnt securely tied or if you use regular grocery bags
which tend to break open on impact. Also please check the attached list
of Acceptable and Unacceptable Recyclables. Weve become a little lax
in following these instructions. Muskego Library
